These HLAA members know how important it is to get your hearing tested and if you have a hearing loss, seek treatment. May is a month set aside to bring awareness to hearing loss and remind people that hearing loss is a major health issue that should be prevented, screened for and treated.

Yet, there is more to a hearing loss beyond the hearing aid or cochlear implant. These members have joined HLAA where they have found out three major things:

  • You don’t have to face hearing loss alone.
  • Hearing loss is a daily challenge you can overcome.
  • You don’t have to hide your hearing loss.
