Hot Off the Press: HLAA Is Changing Our Logo!

HLAA is changing our logo! In our name, Hearing Loss Association of America, the “of America” part of the logo is now in bold type face like the other three words. And the words are now right aligned. (Special thanks to our chapter leader that noticed this and proposed that HLAA make the entire name appear in bold type.) The “new and improved” HLAA logo will be available in December.

HLAA is also designing brand-new logos for our state organizations and chapters and we will send them by the end of December. The logos will show state organization and chapter names like this: Hearing Loss Association of America ____________ [State Association, State Office or Chapter). We ask that you adopt the new name format and the "new and improved" logo by June 1, 2014 and use them on printed materials, your website and all other media. As you may know from the HLAA Statement of Strategic Intent posted on, HLAA is working hard on branding our organization to make it more recognizable to consumers. We are all in this process together.

We know that this change means extra work for everyone. We are creating close to 200 new logos and must also update all of our in-house materials, the website, etc. and so we are sharing the growing pains of becoming a more unified entity.
