Chapter Leader vs. Coordinator

Hi, everyone! I have noticed that many HLAA Chapters call their leader a coordinator. If the chapter you help lead does this (and many in Pennsylvania in particular do this) please use the term "leader" or "president" instead, starting immediately. Making the switch will help reduce confusion with HLAA State Chapter Coordinators, those people appointed by HLAA National to be the main communicators between the chapters under their purview and HLAA (me). If you have any questions about this, please post a message on this blog or contact me via email ( or phone (301-657-2248, ext. 101).

May the new year bring you good health and joy.

Elizabeth LeBarron
HLAA National State and Chapter Coordinator
